Malenščica River

Kanomljica River

The Kanomljica River is the first major tributary of the Idrijca River. It flows into the Idrijca River from the left side near the town of Sp. Idrija. The Kanomljica River resembles an Alpine river with larger and smaller rapids and various overflows. The contrast of the bed structure varies from dark brown to grey-white.
The Kanomljica River will satisfy even the most experienced fly fisherman, who is no stranger to the Indian way of fishing with nymphs or dry flies. In the Kanomljica River, the fly angler can expect to find all kinds of wild trout of various sizes, including capital specimens, the most common of which is, of course, the sockeye trout.
