Unica River

On the edge of the Planina field flows the legendary Unica River, which is known to almost every dry fly fishing enthusiast in Europe. The Unica River is an untouched Slovenian gem, spared from interventions in its natural environment.
As a result, it is the most famous Slovenian karst river, brimming with aquatic life. The water in the river is pure and rich in nutrients, reflected in the fish that inhabit it. The fish reach above-average sizes, enhancing their fighting spirit. The Unica River is renowned for its healthy population of grayling and brown trout.
